- Non-financial reporting, information technology, processes and controls;
- Current and emerging reporting frameworks which may include Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, International Integrated Reporting Council Framework, Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures, and the Global Reporting Initiative;
- Subject matter specialization to develop or support the development of thought leadership; and,
- Key internal operational processes of a professional services firm, e.g., engagement economics, billing and collection, opportunity and lead management, performance appraisals, time reporting, personal independence and compliance requirements.
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in executing engagements regarding controls around the non-financial reporting and sustainability processes within a professional services firm or large enterprise as a consultant, auditor or business process specialist which includes a proven record of success with managing the following:
- Leading sustainability related advisory or assurance projects associated with systems implementations, business process transformation projects and external audits;
- Developing solutions to issues and leading the coordination, planning and execution of projects;
- Leveraging extensive abilities to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff;
- Identifying, creating and leveraging relationships to forge new service opportunities and taking such opportunities through the sales cycle, including leading proposals and oral presentations that result into awarded contracts;
- Understanding negotiations and persuasion to sell potential new service opportunities;
- Leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation;
- Exhibiting extensive project management skills, including developing and overseeing the successful execution of project plans, budgets, deliverables, staffing, billing and collections; and,
