Test and Integration Engineer
Job Posting for Test and Integration Engineer at PXGEO
- Work with design engineers to improve the manufacturability and testability of our products.
- Participate in low level design reviews, assist in the development of early functional prototypes, and then work to translate results into the manufacturing space.
- Design, document, construct and support electrical and mechanical test fixtures for both manufacturing, integration and V&V efforts.
- Perform requirements and gap analysis to develop, coordinate, budget and execute test plans.
- Analyze test and field data to provide feedback for continuous improvement of both manufacturing and design processes.
- Participate in developing software systems to facilitate product testing.
- Work with internal and external quality personnel to audit manufacturing processes and provide technical guidance for root cause analysis when required.
- Interface with field support staff to gain insight on how to better upstream processes.
- Coordinate activities with the relevant project managers to ensure a timely, and on budget, execution.
- Associates, Bachelor’s, or Higher in Electronics Engineering
- Fundamental understanding of System Engineering and Quality Control principals
- Strong understanding of both Analog and Digital electronics.
- Hands-on experience working at the component level of PCBAs and a strong, practical, knowledge of the related test equipment.
- Understanding of, and exposure to, ocean bottom seismic exploration is highly preferred.
- Able to read and generate electrical schematics and create basic mechanical drawings when required.
- Intermediate to advanced LabVIEW skills
- Strong organizational skills. Able to change focus as priorities shift without losing perspective on other work packages.
- Competent with Network protocols and Computer systems
- High appreciation of the EHSQ aspects during Project planning and Offshore operations
- English is mandatory, verbal and written (Excellent Level)
