Immediate need for a Assistant Process Engineer with experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. This is 06 Months Contract position with possible extension located in East Syracuse, NY. Please review the job description below:

Job Description:
The Assistant Process engineer will work both independently and as a team in the Manufacturing Technology group.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
1) Perform manual or automated process performance data extraction, reporting and analysis, and some data entry.
2) Assist in investigation of process deviations by performing data trending and analysis.
3) Support process performance monitoring and analysis to identify process risks and suggest recommendations for process robustness and/or remediation.
4) Support projects for productivity, robustness, quality, business process, and safety improvements.
5) Assist with authoring and review of technical documents, including protocols/technical reports, SOPs, and MBRs.
Qualifications:
1) Experience in problem solving ability and ability to apply risk-based critical thinking in technical environment
2) Ability to collaborate across technical teams and good interpersonal skills
3) Technical communication skills in written and presentation format are essential
4) Ability to work with management to appropriately prioritize and complete deliverables within given timelines
5) Good organizational skills and attention to detail with high quality output
6) Demonstrates technical understanding of scientific area of study and problem solving ability.
Education/Experience:
Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent area of related experience in biologics upstream and downstream manufacturing.
