Counselor (Adolescent)

High Focus Centers in Norwalk is a premier provider of outpatient treatment programs for mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. Our highly trained staff create individualized, comprehensive and robust treatment plans designed to meet each client’s treatment goals. At High Focus Centers in Norwalk we are currently seeking a Clinician to join our amazing Adolescent Clinical team of behavioral healthcare professionals serving adolescents (ages 10-18) who present with acute psychiatric illnesses and co-occurring disorders in a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient treatment setting. Salary Range: $52,000-$60,000/year

Clinical responsibilities include:

• Provide group therapy and group based psycho-education
• Provide individual therapy
• Conduct family sessions to review treatment plans and assess progress
• Conduct initial level of care assessments
• Demonstrates ability to engage adolescent patients and care givers in comprehending the interplay that exists when adolescents present with co-occurring disorders.
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Licensure:

• Minimum 1 year experience working with adolescents.
• Currently have or are in the process of obtaining the following licensure: LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, or LMFT-A
