Job Description
General Requirements
· High School Diploma/GED minimum, Associates Degree preferred
· Able to communicate in English, verbally and in writing
· Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.
· Able to operate desktop and portable computers, including access and searching through electronic databases
· Able to bend, reach, and stretch
· Able to apply logic and reasoning when determining how to proceed with findings or exceptions
· Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to recognize non-conformances comparing received product to specifications
· Ability to make decisions independently
Job Specific Requirements
· 5 years dedicated Inspection, Lab Tech, or Analytical decision-making experience preferred
· Preferred experience includes inspection experience with products used in 1 or more of the following industries: medical device, pharmaceutical, aviation, automotive, construction
· Understands basic quality control concepts such as sampling, non-conformances, CAPA, RTV/RMA/RGA, specifications, tolerances, calibrations
· Ability to learn and navigate IT/computer systems
· Experience with ISO standards is a plus
· Must follow explicit rules for decision approvals and authorized product movement
