The Sales Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Sales Assistant include providing support to our Business Sales Manager and Account Executives include; assisting in daily office needs and managing the Team’s general administrative activities. Additionally, to communicate & coordinate with the Corporate Business Sales Administrator for various Salesforce duties and other initiatives.

What you will be doing:

  • Attend weekly Team meetings provide updates as needed.
  • Training of new Account Executive hires on SalesForce, SharePoint, & QManager,
  • Attend weekly Administrative Meetings
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system for sales reports
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order collateral & marketing material for Account Executives & Managers
  • Add Hot Deals monthly or quarterly to assigned markets thru the Chamber of Commerce
  • Tier 1 Support for SalesForce
  • Order office supplies
  • Liaison with current Corporate Business Sales Administrator to handle requests and queries from Vice President of Sales and other Senior MetroNet Management
  • Research & distribution of leads
  • Assist with proposal development on major presentations by Large Business AE.
  • Travel for Quarterly Team Meetings & compile Presentation with graphs
  • Backup to other assistants for distribution of leads
  • Other duties as required


What You Need For This Position:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Familiarity with Salesforce would be a plus
  • High School degree: additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus
