The Sales Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Sales Assistant include providing support to our Business Sales Manager and Account Executives include; assisting in daily office needs and managing the Team’s general administrative activities. Additionally, to communicate & coordinate with the Corporate Business Sales Administrator for various Salesforce duties and other initiatives.
What you will be doing:
- Attend weekly Team meetings provide updates as needed.
- Training of new Account Executive hires on SalesForce, SharePoint, & QManager,
- Attend weekly Administrative Meetings
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system for sales reports
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order collateral & marketing material for Account Executives & Managers
- Add Hot Deals monthly or quarterly to assigned markets thru the Chamber of Commerce
- Tier 1 Support for SalesForce
- Order office supplies
- Liaison with current Corporate Business Sales Administrator to handle requests and queries from Vice President of Sales and other Senior MetroNet Management
- Research & distribution of leads
- Assist with proposal development on major presentations by Large Business AE.
- Travel for Quarterly Team Meetings & compile Presentation with graphs
- Backup to other assistants for distribution of leads
- Other duties as required
What You Need For This Position:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Familiarity with Salesforce would be a plus
- High School degree: additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus
