Qualitest is looking for a Project Manager to work in the US! Hybrid Remote onsite Oakbrook, IL.

The Project Manager is responsible Good customer focus, attitude and excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, A thorough understanding of generic Project Life Cycle management controls

Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Ability to manage and delegate work as part of a team in a matrix environment, Develop, manage, and maintain all aspects of project level risk mitigation, and contingency planning,

PMP certification desired but not required.

Note from client on what this PM will be doing: The livening of the Router on a Pole (ROP) unit followed a week later by livening of the utility devices (reclosers and cap banks) requires leading calls with utility and IT players doing the physical and configuration work. Typically we try to light up a couple a day. Most of the schedule is completed but there is lots of rearranging depending on where the utility is getting construction done.

Requirements

Must haves:
1. strong PM (will be supervising the implementation of activating technical devices that are used by ComEd in the field)

2. field work 5-10% of time (meaning they'd be out in the field within ComEd's service territory, making sure that the devices that are being implemented are working)
