Job Description
Position: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET Senior)
Location: Remote works for now. But need to be willing to work from Austin, TX/Portland, OR/San Jose, CA when offices open.
Interview Process: In future SDET interview, please let the developer know that we will have hands on coding writing a Test in JavaScript using Selenium, Mocha Framework as a Node.JS project. We prefer to use Visual Studio Code as the IDE, but the candidate can use other IDEs if they don’t have the VS Code installed.
Who are we looking for?
- Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Experience:
- 5 years (Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent)
- 3 years (Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent)
Technical Skills:
- 5 years of experience in SDET role with hands-on skillset (3 years for Masters in Comp Science)
- Engineering experience with various programming languages is desired (C#, HTML, JavaScript, MSSQL, Postgres)
- Automated testing experience with Mocha frameworks is mandatory.
- Experience in API testing using Rest Sharp (Test Automation Tool).
- Strong experience in Business Drive Development (BDD) is must
Good to have:
- Domain knowledge in automotive area

- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
Behavioral Skills:
- Customer focused attitude with ability to ask pertinent questions to understand the root cause of the issues and identify the business impact to drive priority and response plan.
