Position Overview:
As a member of the HR team at QinetiQ US, you will play a vital role in shaping the company's future by nuturing a higih-performance culture, ensuring that employees are engaged, motivated, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities:
- Leverage data to plan and implement strategic HR Initiatives and act as a consultant to managers and employees on general HR activities
- In partnership with our HR centers of excellence, lead the execution of talent activities, i.e. merit planning, promotion process, performance management, open enrollment, etc.
- Serve as a champion for DEI&B initiatives and foster an inclusive environment
- Foster change leadership, act as an HR brand ambassador, and drive culture by caring for our team members, our vendors, and our customers
- Conduct trend analysis on HR metrics, exit and engagement surveys to recommend action plans that drive improvement in employee retention and engagement
- Conduct leadership assimilation and team building activities to help foster alignment and high performing teams
- Manage employee benefits offering in conjunction with brokers, vendors, and HR leadership
- Ensure a fair and consistent interpretation and application of Company policies, practices and procedures that create and maintain a people first culture
- Help manage company organizational structure, roles, responsibilities, and staffing levels.
- Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate corrective action
- In partnership with our talent management team, drive Learning, Development and Training initiatives in coordination with our QinetiQ strategy and program needs
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory concerns including Federal, State and local laws and regulations related to the HR function such as FLSA, ADA, Civil Rights Act of 1964 and FMLA.
- Serve as a partner to the recruiting team to ensure positions are being filled in a timely fashion
- Support HR integration activities related to newly acquired businesses
- Partner with the Payroll team to process a timely and accurate payroll on a bi-weekly basis
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-7 years HR Business partner experience working in a federal government contracting environment
- Deep and broad understanding of end-to-end HR processes and the corporate systems used to support them. (i.e., HRIS, Benefits, Recruitment)
- Ability to analyze data and utilize this information for data-driven decision making
- Quality-oriented with a keen eye toward attention to detail
- Highly organized, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with all internal and external customers at a global level
- Good understanding and knowledge of development and change management life-cycles
- Experience with HRIS systems and capabilities (preferably SuccessFactors and/or UKG)
- Ability to utilize functionality of MS Office applications and other various technology applications
