QinetiQ Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Project Analyst to support our mission work near our Lorton, VA location. The selected candidate will have responsibility in the following areas:
Support one or more programs at our customer location providing contract support including tracking paments and purchasing spends from different departments.
Ensure that all payments remain within the total project budget.
Reconcile issued purchase orders and report purchase order amounts, providing available funding upon request.
Track funding, including material and labor costs for multiple contracts.
Provide information such as analysis reports on which departments are spending the most and how this impacts the total budget.
Assist with the management of funding requirements.
To Land This Job, You Need:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or a similar field, or equivalent hands on experience.
Experience receiving, reviewing, and processing purchase requirest using various databases such as Access.
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite Software especially Access and Excel.
Excellent Oral and written communication.
Knowledge of specific accounting software such as Jamis or Deltek is a plus.
