Senior Project Manager- Transportation (Louisville)

Qk4 seeks an experienced and talented Senior Project Manager to join our Transportation team in our Louisville, KY office.  If you have successfully overseen Kentucky transportation design projects and enjoy leading and mentoring others, this could be the career move for you!

How you will spend your day:

• Effectively perform project management functions including proposal development, contract negotiation, create and monitor project plans and designs, communicate progress/updates to client, manage budget and labor costs. Communicates changes in scopes or schedules.  Adjusts timelines and labor allocations accordingly. Delivers final project to client. 
• Provide technical expertise and engineering guidance to resolve challenges and removes obstacles. Shares knowledge and mentors less experienced staff.  Works at team and individual levels to increase skills and capabilities while promoting team environment.   
• Lead internal meetings during all project phases.

Successful candidates will possess:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license in KY.
• Minimum of 10 years of transportation project management experience, KYTC project work required.
• Demonstrated capability with MicroStation, Open Roads Design and other applicable software.
