The Senior Data Analyst Role
As a Senior Data Governance Analyst within Qlik's Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) function, you'll report to the Senior Manager EDG.
Your pivotal role involves steering discussions to shape Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Management programs, championing these initiatives as Qlik’s Customer Zero. Leading discussions, rolling out policies, and ensuring compliance will be central to your impact.
Additionally, as a senior member, mentoring junior analysts and managing multiple DG projects will be part of your portfolio.

Strategic Roadmap Crafting: Lead discussions to define roadmap initiatives for Data Governance, Quality, and Master Data Management programs.
Policy Roll-Out and Compliance Monitoring: Drive compliance initiatives, architecting and overseeing governance processes across critical data assets.
Data Governance Framework Development: Analyze and implement a robust data governance framework, focusing on data management, policies, standards, and adherence to regulations.
Enhancing Data Quality: Apply governance frameworks to continuously improve data quality and ensure strict adherence to data trust and classification protocols.
Collaborative Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across Qlik, engaging with subject matter experts to ensure critical data assets align with governance protocols.
Performance Metrics and Compliance: Define and analyze performance metrics, ensuring alignment with data-related policies, standards, and adoption requirements.
Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
· Shaping Data Compliance: Your leadership will drive Qlik’s alignment with internal and external data regulations, ensuring robust compliance measures.
· Elevating Data Governance Practices: Your mentorship and project leadership will enhance Qlik's data governance landscape, fostering continuous improvements.
· Driving Data Quality: Your expertise will elevate data quality, enabling better decision-making and bolstering data reliability across Qlik's systems.
We’re looking for a teammate with:
· BA/BS degree in Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related field.
· 10 years in Data Management or Analyst roles, including solution implementation.
· 3 years of experience in Data Governance and Data Quality within a sizable organization.
· Understanding of Data Governance, Master Data Management technology, and familiarity with Qlik/Talend DG/DQ products or similar tools.
· Proficiency in relevant data regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.
· Strong team player with exceptional relationship-building and leadership skills.
· Excellent written, and verbal communication, and presentation skills.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $120,000 USD - $140,000 USD per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
