As a Senior IT Project Manager and team member of our rapidly growing company, you will have significant impact on our company’s growth and success. You’ll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with IT teams and business partners across Qlik. Candidates must be self-driven and results oriented, with a strong will to succeed.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing your strategic and tactical planning skills to lead multiple, concurrent programs or projects.
  • Acting as a liaison between business teams and IT teams to ensure that proposed solutions meet business requirements.
  • Building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders with the goal of becoming a trusted partner.
  • Translating new product offerings, technology projects and business objectives into sequenced executable projects, timelines, and delivery milestones with clearly defined benefits.
  • Adhering and contributing to IT PMO processes and PM methodology to successfully deliver projects.
  • Working closely with implementation partners to align with their project plans and coordinating timelines and execution with internal as well as third party partners
  • Working closely with IT leaders to define and contribute to business process and technology roadmaps in support of long-term strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining key project governance documentation to ensure the proper amount of structure is applied to enable project success.
  • Providing timely updates and elevate critical risks to project, management, and senior executive teams.
  • Communicating with stakeholders regularly to manage expectations and to provide project updates on scope, budget, and velocity.
  • Exhibiting critical thinking by seeing outcomes and providing direction when there are multiple stakeholders and solutions.
  • Coaching, collaborating with and mentoring IT PMO team members and technical leads.

Qualifications include:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business or IT-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
  • 8 years of experience successfully leading projects in a fast paced and multifaceted environment.
  • PgMP or PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience in establishing and driving the adoption of program frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in driving the end-to-end delivery of new product to market and new technology.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Teams, Smartsheets and Jira.
  • Strong understanding of Program and Project Management frameworks.
  • Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal/presentations. Ability to bridge from high-level objectives to project details and vice-versa.
  • Strong organizational planning skills and understanding of portfolio management concepts.
  • Effective analytical skills with an ability to identify issues and resolve, or identify the internal resources to assist.
  • Tolerant of ambiguity and the flexibility to work well in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
  • Proven experience leading Security, IT infrastructure, Business Applications projects.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, partnering with globally distributed, cross-functional teams to achieve a shared goal.
  • Ability to engage with IT & business leaders to help unblock/escalate projects as needed.
  • Initiative to start programs and/or projects with little or no information and drive to see to fruition.
  • Excellent leadership skills that improve project team effectiveness.
