Power Devices develops innovative silicon carbide (SiC) power semiconductors that deliver the industry’s best efficiency and performance for electric-vehicle (EV) chargers, DC-DC converters, and traction drives, as well as telecom/server power supplies, variable-speed motor drives, and solar photovoltaic (PV) inverters. We are growing and therefore looking for a self-driven Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator to work closely with the internal and external teams as well as with global manufacturers meet or exceed customers’ delivery and quality expectations. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Receiving:
- Physically receive and unpack shipments to the NJ location. Forward materials to incoming QC, stock or recipient.
- Process ERP receipt entries for incoming materials based on physical receipts and/or communications from global suppliers.
- Update production job/workorder records based on goods receipts.
- Work with accounting in case of AP invoice vs. receipts discrepancies.
- Provide customer and miscellaneous shipment logistics support including picking, packing (domestic warehouse only), shipping, ship notice communications, and related ERP entries.
- Ensure that customer requirements for product delivery are met as recorded on the sales order records.
- Monitor shipments to ensure that issues with transit are proactively identified, resolved, and escalated.
- Work with accounting to properly code shipping charges.
- Work with offsite warehousing regarding distribution of inventory. Update Inbound and Outbound Inventory ERP records. Issue materials to jobs as instructed.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts. Responsible for the ERP inventory transactions and cycle-count activities.
- Process purchase orders for warehouse and office supplies. Act as a back-up for purchasing as needed.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 5 years of actual hands-on experience.
- ERP systems with international and domestic shipping experience expected.
- Shall be able to wear multiple hats, juggle tasks and adapt to changing situations with urgency.
- Shall be team-oriented and customer-focused.
- Dependable, receives and executes tasks to completion.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, time-management, and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail a must.
- Effective Communication Skills. Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
- Shall be able to lift 50lb.
