Manufacturing Technician 1

Manufacturing Tech Responsibilities:

• Initial set up and ongoing maintenance of work areas, primarily in the production clean room, using Lean and ergonomic principals
• Assembly and installation of tables, racks, furniture and other items for use in the clean room
• Installation and basic maintenance of computer hardware used in the production facility
• Assist in providing needed items to ensure a safe work environment
• Working with vendors to provide supplies and services
• Creation of Purchase Requisitions to obtain needed items and supplies
• Analyze workflows and manufacturing work station needs, provide tangible solutions for the production floor issues
• Participate in the training of others
• Use standard software applications (MS Office) and creating reports and documenting procedures
• Identify and address potential areas for improvement
• Work overtime as needed to accomplish the duties and responsibilities required of the job

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• AS/MS degree and/or applicable experience preferred
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing preferred
• Experience with Lean, 5S systems preferred
• Mechanical skills
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing as much as 50 pounds
• Flexible and able to adjust to changing goals, objectives, company policies and have excellent time management and organization skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Versatility and ability to work on multiple tasks
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows-based software
