Material Handler Responsibilities :
- All employees must follow all proper safety procedures and regulations, including wearing required protective gear and dispose of materials as required
- Must identify, transport, pack, remove and properly dispose of material
- You will physically move material along with using proper equipment to move product as required
- You will interact with all warehouse, shop floor and office staff
- You will participate in counting inventory as needed in the warehouse
Requirements For Material Handler :
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklift (once trained and certified by company), pallet jack, scissor lift, etc
- Ability to follow all proper inventory control procedures
- Ability to learn and apply Benchmark Training requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years old with a current, valid drivers license
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Must have basic computer input skills. Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
- Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
