Position Title: Production Craftsman
Wage: $21.50/hour
Shift: Weekend Shift
Hours: 5am-5:30pm Friday-Sunday

Production Craftsman Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Consistently demonstrate and incorporate principles of safety for self and others into daily activities
- Develop and maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure participation in safety programs and required trainings
- Safeguard company property while maintaining acceptable level of productivity
- Read work-orders and perform work as assigned by management team
- Attach appropriate labels, documents, tags to products and/or packages
- Maintain production pace, while meeting daily production goals
- Prepare surfaces of stained products prior to staining, load and unload automated paint lines, install glass panels into door panels, hand-apply custom stains to door panels and entrance system parts
- Use a shop management workflow software, including hand-held scanners, to facilitate the electronic movement of work orders, inventory, and other production critical parts through the production process
- Perform all duties in a manner that promote team concept and encourage team effort
- Perform other duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team and/or company mission
Production Craftsman Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with hand wiped stain is a plus
- Quality minded to ensure the product lives up to the reputation that the company has established
- Communicate effectively, define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions with all levels of the organization and team
- Apply an artistic talent and touch to hand wiping stain on door system parts
- Observant, ability to identify issues, stop and correct the issue
- Ability to read paperwork, interpret instructions, and exercise good judgment
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Lift and carry up to 75lbs
- Stand/bend-twist/lift/walk for long periods of time
- Work 10-hour shifts minimum
