MSS ensures that all the mass spectrometers, liquid chromatographs, and other related bioanalytical instruments/ equipment are in good working order. The process is vital to the operational success of GBA and of preclinical, nonclinical, and clinical trials around the world.

This role requires advanced skills in equipment repair and maintenance, and focused customer service. In this role, you will lead the repair, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of bioanalytical equipment with minimum supervision, maintain a clean/safe lab, and ensure the smooth operation of the facility, plus train junior staff.

The Job

• Understand, evaluate, troubleshoot, and fix LC-MS/MS systems
• Perform planned preventive maintenance, calibration, and regular maintenance of the LC-MS/MS
• Order, replenish consumables, and maintain inventory of spare parts for LC and MS systems
• Perform validations on equipment
• Complete real time updates of maintenance records
• Support end users promptly
• Organize and conduct work assignments in a safe manner and according to SOP’s and GLP Regulations

Work Location

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years relevant industry experience
• A background or education in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, is considered added value
• Bioanalytical CRO experience is considered added value
• Exposure to FDA Regulated industry is preferred
