What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager - Douglaston Preschool - Bilingual Spanish Preferred - QSAC Education position at QSAC, Inc.?
The hours for this position is Monday- Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm with a 30 min lunch.
The salary range for this position is $17-$19 dollars an hour.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete required QSAC orientation.
- Manage daily office activities (phones, fax, copies, draft/send letters, and filing for the Douglaston site).
- Maintain visitor log/check in/out procedures.
- Assist with ensuring that teachers maintain accurate attendance and forward attendance reports to the Assistant Director.
- Coordinate staff to be fingerprinted.
- Maintain files for staff and children, including but not limited to medical, immunizations, emergency contact information.
- Update and maintain student database in Salesforce.
- Coordinate new hire packet/procedures (fingerprinting, medicals, etc.).
- Coordinates and schedules intake tours, enrollment paperwork.
- Coordinate outreach materials .
- Manage facility issues including office equipment.
- Communicate with all staff regarding office and larger agency operations/issues.
- Order supplies - office, household, classroom material and food supplies .
- Maintain appropriate storage of supplies.
- Manage petty cash fund.
- Participate as the liaison for the bus company.
- Updates and maintains online busing roster.
- Conducts daily attendance inquiries.
- Maintain participant/family confidentiality.
- Punctuality and regular attendance is expected.
- Commitment to company values and adherence to policies.
- Microsoft and Google Application knowledge is highly preferred
- DOH Food Handler Certificate is a plus
- FDNY Certificate of Fitness / Fire Drill Conductor Certificate is a plus
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma and/or substantial related experience.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Professional, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including excel.
