Job purpose
Aids with and facilitates the human resource processes. This role administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as liaison between employees and insurance providers. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The Human Resource Coordinator makes that certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Duties and responsibilities
· Prepare the offer letter and send to appropriate candidate(s)
· Review benefits packages with new hires and answer all related questions
· Collect paperwork and other related documents from the new hire
· Ensure compliance with relevant HR policies and practices
· Track and record employee sick/vacation requests
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
· 2-3 years experience in a HR role, or staffing.
· Skilled in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Knowledge of Human Resources processes and procedures
· Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Company and employee information
· Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
· Ability to communicate courteously with all levels of the organization to resolve issues
· Oral/written communications, analytical thinking, organization and planning, teamwork, adaptability, and customer service skills
Working conditions
Job is performed in our corporate headquarters. Working hours generally are Monday – Friday 0800 – 1700 Hours. Some overtime and weekend work may also apply on a week-to-week basis, but must have prior approval.
Physical requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
