QSM Environmental - Inside Sales
QSM is seeking an Inside Sales Representative.
As a member of our team, you would contribute to QSM’s mission by:
- Maintain constant and proactive contact with both existing and new customers.
- Locate plans, take off item quantities for the appropriate salesman.
- Price, or obtain pricing for material quantities, create Projects and Estimates in Net Suite.
- Project mine (as time allows) for projects that include protected items or are potential value engineering opportunities.
- Obtain and communicate immediately the production and delivery schedules for the appropriate salesman.
- Develop & maintain relationships within QSM’s customers that you encounter.
- Regularly engage in educational activities that are made available by QSM within your work schedule.
- Educate QSM’s clients on the solutions QSM provides.
- Participate in industry and community organizations.
- Maintain project & customer activity in QSM’s CRM program.
- Provide logistical and on-site support to end-users and/or contractors during the product implementation phase of projects.
- Support end-users with aftermarket needs as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS in engineering, construction management, or business-related concentrations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel to & from the designated QSM office location.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to operate light machinery such as a forklift.
- Professional in both behavior and appearance, and able to represent himself/herself and QSM withcharacter and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ambitious, self-starter with the ability to work with or without direct supervision after training.
- Thrives in an environment that requires accomplishing goals and hitting deadlines.
- 3 years of related, professional experience.
- Experience with CRM’s
- Understands the construction market including project delivery from conceptualization to completion.
- Passionate about people with a desire to work through obstacles to assist with solutions.
- Has a personal vision for the next 3, 5, 10, & 20 years.
- Strong relationships in the territory.
Working Conditions:
- Full time
- The majority (90%) of time will be spent in an office setting.
- At times, odd working hours should be expected including evenings and/or weekends.
- Occasional exposure to outdoor elements.
Travel Requirements:
- This is an inside sales position. Travel will be minimal.
- Occasional nights away from home and in hotels will occur, particularly for training purposes.
