Overview
The EDI Analyst is responsible for the accumulation, review, and maintenance of payer-related information as it relates to the proper routing of electronic claims. The primary purpose of this role is to maintain the Quadax Payer List, ensuring that it is current and accurate. The EDI Analyst also serves as a conduit between clients, payers, and other Quadax EDI departments to ensure payer-related changes are implemented in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities
- Gather information from a wide variety of sources (e.g. payer website, listserv notices).
- Analyze the information for its relevance to a wide variety of issues/projects.
- Formulate an effective solution accordingly (e.g. completion of new payer connection requests), which must be properly communicated both to the EDG Manager and internally.
- The routine review and reporting of payer developments/updates is a critical function of this position.
- Assist in various EDI-related projects, which often include collaboration with other EDI departments.
