Position: Senior Technical Service Representative Location: Ideally, this person will be located close to our customers base in either Texas, Louisiana or Oklahoma You will be supporting customers based out in Texas/Louisiana/Oklahoma – about 50% of travel is expected. Status: Full-time, permanent (1)   We are currently recruiting a Senior Technical Service Representative to join our team in Texas! In this pivotal role, you'll be the go-to expert, delivering top-notch technical services to bolster the sales of Quadra’s Energy Group products in your designated territory. If you're ready to make an impact in the gas processing industry, this is the role for you!   Reporting to the North American Technical Services Manager, the Senior Technical Service Representative provides advanced technical support to customers, conduct technical training sessions to enhance product knowledge and collaborate with our commercial team and customers in order to improve performance and efficiency. We are looking for an experienced person that wants to serve as a subject matter expert on our amazing products and services and offer guidance and assistance to internal teams and customers. The candidate should demonstrate a capacity for maintaining a long-term strategic perspective and proficiency in leading strategic discussions.   Who are we? You will work with dynamic colleagues who are eager to share their knowledge with you.   What would be your main responsibilities as a Senior Technical Service Representative: Travel within the United-States in order to provide plant engineering support services in energy, utility, equipment, and process optimization Provide plants with troubleshooting service via the phone or during technical site visits or onsite support during emergency call outs – focusing on our core products to service gas sweentening, dehydration and hydrocarbon recovery facilities. Conduct joint calls with Quadra’s commercial team and suppliers Write and communicate analytical reports for our customers Deal directly with supplier engineering support personnel and then transfer knowledge to customers and Account Managers Serve as a subject matter expert on company products or services, offering guidance and assistance to internal teams and customers Effectively overcome buying resistance and participate in closing sales through selling the value-added components of Quadra Develop project opportunities in cooperation with Account Managers in the key technical products such as molecular sieve, amines, silica gel, glycols, carbons, etc. Coordinate with Account Managers on new plant start- ups, chemical fills, etc. Conduct technical training seminars to our customers and internal commercial team to enhance product knowledge and troubleshooting skills Participating in the development and implementation of strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention Document and maintain fully detailed records of prospect and customer contacts, technical issues, resolutions reports to be entered into Salesforce in a comprehensive and organized manner Report to the any changes in business trends, customer complaints and defections, competitor’s activity and any expressions of customers satisfaction or dissatisfaction Keep abreast of competitor product knowledge; analyze trends to identify opportunities for product improvement or new product development Participate in training, sales meeting, commercial trainings, to enhance sales productivity and technical knowledge, as authorized by the Technical Services Manager Represent Quadra at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings to promote products and services and gather market intelligence Collaborate and liaise with the appropriate Quadra’s employees to contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures to address customer needs and ensure a satisfactory level of customer service Build credibility for the company and generate customer trust through professional appearance and conduct at all times What are the requirements needed to have success in this position?: Bachelor’s degree Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or any related field is required A minimum of 10 years of experience in an operations/technical support role within the gas processing industry Demonstrated track record of problem-solving, troubleshooting, and technical report preparation Experience in the oil and gas industry and/or chemical distribution sector is preferred Possesses excellent capability in resolving complex situations and/or issues, with a proven track record of providing effective solutions Demonstrates the ability to design methods, devise methodologies or adapt existing ones to suit specific circumstances Demonstrates leadership qualities and charisma Proven ability in achieving performance targets and KPI’s Experience in managing projects with multiple deadlines is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain business relationships Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with a CRM (ideally Salesforce) and with the Microsoft Office suite Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays and long-distance driving Possession of a valid driver’s license and passport is mandatory At Quadra, we offer not only an engaging culture, a collaborative, family-oriented and supportive environment, but also plenty of autonomy and flexibility.
