Historical Appraisal Specialist Washington DC / CONUS MUST : Strong experience advising on / working with Historical Buildings for improvement and restoration Strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies Experience with GIS tools and other relevant research software Exceptional analytical and report-writing skills Strong analytical background Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Passion for history and historical accuracy Master's or PhD in a research-focused field, such as Sociology, Anthropology, or a related discipline.
DUTIES : Understanding how to create a comprehensive plan achieve government goals of evaluation and restoration of Historical Government building to include offices, Museum and Libraries Conduct comprehensive study plan, detailing research methods, scheduling inspections and work, setting deadlines, milestones and completion dates Conduct a GIS study on the availability of facilities in economically disadvantaged areas, mapping and analyzing data related to various geographical and economic factors Synthesize research findings and draft interim and final reports.
