Data Center Support Technician
Tysons, VA
MUST:
Experienced Data Center Support Technician
3 plus years of experience in a data center environment
Background in physical server, network cabling and network hardware, racking server and network hardware required
Bachelor's degree and/or CCNA certification or, MS or CompTIA certifications
DUTIES:
Provide firm-wide technical support across hardware and software applications for firm's data center
Perform cable installations, hardware rack / stack installations, testing, and troubleshooting using standard datacenter processes
Maintains data center system documentation
Management of firm's UPS power systems and alerts
Monitor and respond to all issues with the Offices MDF and IDF rooms
Performs hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair
Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff
Work independently and be available 24/7 as needed
Manage firmwide Security Camera systems and Building Access Control systems
Special project and duties as assigned
