We are seeking an Engineering Analysis & Test Engineer IV to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

 

Job Description:

  • Develop test procedures to verify Space Launch System (SLS) Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) Software requirements
  • Execute Software Test Procedures in a lab environment during Formal Qualification Test (FQT)
  • Perform reviews of EGSE Software Requirements to ensure quality and testability (compound requirements, redundant requirements, specificity)
  • Perform other duties as assigned supporting software test tasks


Desired Skill(s):

  • Proficiency in XML (will need to write sequences/sequences groups/test configurations)
  • Proficiency in Linux
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (bash, python, perl)
  • Familiarity with Wireshark, Alta View Bus Analyzer, RS-422 sniffing tools
  • Familiarity with Hardware devices (Power Supply, Multifunction Switch/Measure Unit, RF Transmitter and Receiver, RF Switch, Electronic Load)
  • Familiarity with Engineering Drawings
  • Familiarity with MS1553, Ethernet and 422 protocol

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in software or systems engineering.
  • Experience in Military, Government, and/or Commercial Aerospace Programs
  • Experience in systems test development and execution

Technical Requirements:

  • Ability to master skills quickly.
  • Ability to effectively communicate written and/or orally, between various teams.
  • Must be a US Citizen
