Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs. Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting). Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day. Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely. Minimum Qualifications: As a member of Qualcomm’s globally diverse IT organization, you will work closely with several other Salesforce Administrators/Developers in the development and maintenance of Qualcomm’s Salesforce product offering. Salesforce disciplines span Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Communities and various custom applications. Your ability to execute against requirements and translate them into meaningful specifications and solid implementations on the Salesforce platform using agile development work methodologies, in addition to your ability to diagnose/address customer break/fix issues in a timely manner will serve you well in this position. Confidence, professionalism and integrity define your professional makeup. This position will require you to attend daily scrum meetings with remote teams. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision 5 yrs of proven work experience building and delivering technical implementations of customer projects 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a large corporate organization (SFDC certification preferred) 3-5 years developing Salesforce applications using out-of-the-box feature capabilities such as Flows, Process Builder as well as utilizing Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, Javascript and the AJAX Toolkit Knowledge of in REST/SOAP APIs (XML, JSON), Informatica Cloud ETL Processes Strong experience with object modeling in Salesforce and understanding of fundamental database concepts (including SOQL) Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives and company goals Gather and translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform utilizing industry standard best practices Attend daily Sprint meetings with global development team members Manage daily support and maintenance of assigned Salesforce applications. Consult with internal stakeholders to develop short and long-term strategies for product and process improvements Integrate Salesforce applications with on-premise systems using web services or ETL processes Drive development process improvement in the areas of CI/CD, test automation and the definition of standards and best practices to be used by the SFDC development team Level of Responsibility: Working independently with little supervision Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions that are moderate in impact; errors may have financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships; errors may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct Using verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question.
