Position: Waterjet Table Operator
Location/s: Ashland, VA
Duration: 6 months contract to hire
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00/hr. (Depending on experience)
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Job Description:
Qualdoc is seeking a skilled Water Jet Operator to join our team.
\n- Operate and maintain water jet cutting equipment.
- Programming water jet machines from a drawing
- Read technical drawings and work orders.
- Use precision tools for accurate measurements.
- Utilize 2D CAD software (O Max or Intelli Max).
- Manage time efficiently and meet production schedules.
- Maintain job-related computer files.
- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
- Lift materials up to 60 pounds.
- Participate in cross-training with Hypertherm plasma.
- Run the Water Jet
- Retrieve drawings and materials.
- Set up and calibrate the machine.
- Produce precise parts.
- Inspect parts for quality.
- Record job times and data.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience with water jet or CNC equipment is preferred.
- Experience in programming Waterjet Machines and run the operation from start to finish
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measurement tools.
- Familiarity with 2D CAD software.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- General mechanical knowledge.
- Physically able to lift 60 pounds.
- Must pass a criminal background check (7-year felony sex offender)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test (10 panels for recreational drugs and opiates)
