Do you have quick and nimble fingers? Are you an early bird? Our client here in Tupelo is looking for an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join their fast-paced team. Your primary responsibility will be to use a sewing machine, but you will also have to have experience sewing by hand.

Hours: Monday thru Friday-6:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Payrate: $12.00 hr.

Responsibilities

The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for operating and tend sewing machines in order to perform sewing operations for products

  • Draw thread through guides, tensions, and needles as well as adjust industrial sewing machine functions
  • Replaces and re-threads needles
  • Observes sewing machine operation
  • Selects supplies, such as fasteners and thread, according to specifications
  • Cuts material and threads, using scissors
