Part Time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Our client is looking to hire a part-time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist at their Alabaster facility. They are one of the top rubber gasket manufactures in the country. Pay: $15/hr
Shift:
Monday – Friday – 8AM – 12PM
Job Duties:
- Receive and direct visitors and clients
- Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
- General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Handle requests for information and data
- Resolve administrative problems and inquiries
- Prepare written responses to routine enquiries
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
- Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence and mail
- Maintain office supply inventories
- Assist in handling monthly organizational payroll remittances, financial statements, and reports
- Maintain Communications board
- Pair purchasing documents with purchase orders and receipts and code with proper account for invoicing
- Input accredited payables and print checks
- Organize meetings, as well as update accounting and business records
- Accomplish complete end of the month reconciliation for all purchase orders ad requisitions and reporting of wage personnel and aid the maintenance of overtime and vacation schedules.
- Data entry to include Press Line Production, Press Hours/Production, wage employee vacation and points tracking, plant downtime, overtime percent tracking, etc.
- Maintain Kitchen area for organization, cleanliness, and restocking supplies.
- Perform work safely
- Adhere to all company rules, policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications (Excel, Word, JDE, Peachtree)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Professional personal presentation
- Information management
- Organizing and planning and attention to detail
- Initiative and reliability with a high stress tolerance
- Prompt and above average attendance
