Qualis Home Health Services, LLC is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA), PCAs, and Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) in Arlington, Virginia, and surrounding areas to provide Personal Care, Companionship, and Respite Services. Monday-Friday 4pm-7pm and Saturday 10am-4pm shifts are available. Female Strongly Encouraged to Apply. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Meal preparation
- Maintain fall preventative measures
- Participate and engage clients with various social activities/hobbies
- Perform light housekeeping (including laundry and emptying trash)
- Perform and record Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) such as bathing, toileting and dressing...
- Assist client with transferring
- Observe client and note physical condition, attitude, reactions, appetite, etc. and report any changes to the nurse.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Minimum qualifications are:
- Must understand English both written and spoken.
- Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
- Knowledge of and a special sensitivity to the needs of the targeted population of focus
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
