Job Summary: Our Crew Members are responsible for preserving and maintaining lawns and landscapes for both residential and commercial clients. Crew members serve as the face of the company while performing maintenance on the client’s property.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide labor associated with the maintenance of all lawns and landscape beds, including clean-ups, pruning, mulching, mowing, edging, and line trimming.
Maintain and enhance lawns and landscapes at commercial and residential properties.
Work in conjunction with the Crew Leader to ensure the work contracted is implemented efficiently and according to the contracted specifications.
Drive, use, maintain, and properly operate equipment.
Store equipment and supplies in a safe manner.
Be sensitive and respectful of equipment and customers' property at all times.
Display honesty and respect at the work site and when working with coworkers and customers.
Arrive at designated facility/property on time, ready to perform duties.
Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
Assist in other departments as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have excellent verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
At least one year of lawn care experience (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Working Conditions: This position is exposed to equipment movement hazards, dirt, noise, temperature extremes, direct sunlight, dampness, and chemicals/solvents. There are possible hazards from moving equipment and possible electrical shock. There is constant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a day. This is a fast-paced work environment with a significant amount of pressure.
