Job Summary:
Quality Chevrolet GMC is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Consultant. This is a full time position in the auto industry, located in Englewood, New Jersey. As a Service Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all clients who visit our dealership. You will serve as the first point of contact for all service related inquiries and will assist customers throughout the entire service experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is an individual contributor role with a starting salary of $600 per week paid on a weekly basis plus monthly commission. In addition, our company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and employee discounts on vehicles and service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they arrive at the dealership and assist them with scheduling, checking in, and retrieving their vehicles for service.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and prepare repair estimates.
- Keep customers informed throughout the service process and provide updates on any additional repairs or services needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all services provided and invoice customers for completed work.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service operations.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to effectively assist customers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance services.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and ability to learn new software programs.
- Must be able to work full time and weekends when needed.
