The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for using the nursing process to deliver safe and age-appropriate patient care, adhering to the scope of practice defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
**DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:**
The Intensive Care Unit/Critical Care Unit provides advanced care for patients with complex and high-risk conditions. The unit specializes in intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions.
**EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:**
- Active and unencumbered Oregon RN license.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
- GSR ICU-CCU: ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required within six (6) months of hire. ENPC accepted until January 1st, 2025, in lieu of PALS.
- Previous ICU experience preferred. RNs with other Critical Care experience will be considered and trained.
