Job Description
Overall Role: Completely responsible for Receiving, Evaluation and Listing (Scanning, Pressing, Grading, Pricing and Certifying) pre-sale processes striving for the highest level of quality. Completely responsible for the Fulfillment post-sale process including managing the inventory and getting the goods to the customer in a timely manner. Leads with the company's core values. Achieves all relevant key performance indicators to demonstrate complete ownership of the role. Coordinates with Acquisitions and Customer Service departments to address customer concerns with our products and services. Contributes to building and maintaining relationships with other comic book dealers or relevant external partners.
1. Leadership/Supervisory Role
Provides leadership over the pressing, grading, sales and shipping departments. Responsible for (in coordination with the CEO) for interviewing, hiring and firing for these departments.
Tasked with establishing and overseeing the adoption of departmental vision and values, which forms part of the work culture
2. Strategy/Planning
Tasked with designing and implementing SOPs for the various departments.
Designing and planning the processes that are not fully fleshed out.
Leadership Meetings with CEO and Acquisitions Director on our path as a company, handling customer situations and employee interactions
IDEAL WEEK: Review key performance indicators daily for evaluation, grading, scanning, pressing, pricing and shipping. Provide leadership to improve numbers and become more efficient. Head up team meetings with heads of pressing, shipping, grading, customer service etc. to look for opportunities and weaknesses. Design / Refine processes (SOPs) where our key performance indicators are not efficient including measuring quality within the processes. Work with the website development team to build new functionality into our CMS
Job Qualifications
Full time position upon completion of 90 day probation
Have a positive, can-do attitude
High level of attention to detail and organization is a must
Ability to work with hands on fragile or delicate items
Work independently through self leadership
Proactively seek positive resolutions for customer concerns using empathy
Comic book and pop culture knowledge is a plus, but not a must
Standard PC operation, including basic knowledge of common office applications
Able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs daily and use stools/ladders (8ft. maximum)
At least 3 years in managing a team, with focus on growing sales, developing processes, and mentoring employees
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
