Nurse LPN/RN Day to Day Tasks: A typical day in this role includes but is not limited to distributing medication, responding to patient requests for acute and chronic medical concerns, conducting intake assessments for newly arrived patients and general medical physicals for patients who have been incarcerated for 14 days, and working collaboratively with other medical, mental health, and correctional professionals. Each day presents unique opportunities and challenges that will undoubtedly foster professional and personal growth.
Nurse LPN/RN Preference: We firmly believe that any individual with the required training and adequate motivation can be successful in our organization regardless of previous experience.
Nurse LPN/RN Requirements:
- LPN or RN (Full time - MUST be willing to travel to various correctional facilities in the central part of the state. Counties that may be included but not limited to: Marion, Hancock, Johnson, Shelby, Rush,Decatur, Brown, Madison, Delaware, Tipton, Howard, Clinton, Tippecanoe, etc.).
- This position does also require some flexibility and the need to possibly work days/nights/weekends
