Quality Enclosures, Inc., the premier manufacturer of Shower Enclosures and other flat glass products in the Northeast, is looking for a CAD Programmer to join its team as it continues its growth. On-the-job training is offered. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow personally and professionally. This position also provides the opportunity to contribute to the growth of an organization in a meaningful way. The primary responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

• Check dimensions.
• Draw simple polylines and place BLOCKs in the correct locations.
• Prepare custom drawings.
• Communicate clearly with team members.
• Check and program and CNC using WardCam, make adjustments using DraftSight, and make ready for Wardjet fabrication.
• Cooperate with QEI Engineering regarding fabrication rules, revisions, shape discrepancies, holds, pullbacks, etc.
• Optimize production schedules for best yields and assign releases to cutting table by target ship date.

General hours will be: Monday - Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm) Hybrid

Requirements:

• Minimum of Associate's Degree.
• Interest in working with CAD software (AutoCAD or DraftSight).
• Familiarity with CAD preferred.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Good observation skills (attention to detail).
• Computer literacy and math skills.
