Primary Responsibility:
Support manufacturing by safely moving glass through the tempering process.
Summary of Job Duties:
- Accurately read and measure glass specifications.
- Safely move glass through the tempering facility.
- Load and unload glass from washers, polishers, ovens, and roller tables.
- Operate multiple machines through tempering process.
- Follow the order paperwork to ensure accurate production.
- Constantly perform quality check on product.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Ability to perform physical work and may be required to lift, but not limited to 75 lbs.
- Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, reaching, standing, pushing, and lifting for up to 3-4 hours without sitting
- Ability to read, write, and measure product and labels
- Ability to use logical or rational thinking to resolve issues
- Ability to perform basic math and measuring functions
Working Conditions:
- Works primarily indoors, but not limited. Exposure to various temperatures.
- Exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils & materials
- Personal Protective Equipment required.
- Second shift beginning at 1:00 pm.
