The Operations Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, directing, and managing all plant sales and operations with overall responsibility for production, maintenance, quality, and personnel.

Competencies (Knowledge)
Supervisory Responsibility
Serves as the primary direct report for plant office personnel, assistant operations manager, and production supervisors/shift leads.
Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets, and standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand tools, electric tools, and trucks. This position works both inside the plant and outside as required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with overtime required as dictated by the workload.

Opportunities to travel and improve knowledge and learning of the HDG process may arise (<5%).
