Job Summary
*Position: Front Office Associate
Days: Rotating shifts
Shift: Rotating as per management needs
Reports To: AGM, GM
Position Summary: To Welcome guests and Sell guest rooms. To have a complete understanding of front office procedures and organizational structure of the hotel. To be an exceptional first point of contact for all guests, whether on the phone or upon arrival at the hotel.
Schedule Requirements
- Must be available to work for rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Must be reliable to work as scheduled with minimal schedule change requests
- Position requires rotating shifts as management needs, failure to do so will result in verbal/written notice or direct termination.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior similar job responsibilities a plus.
Job Type: Part time or Full time
SALARY: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Functions: The following list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary.
- Follow the Company Standards and maintain a positive attitude.
- Neat, clean, well groomed appearance. Appropriate uniform and name tag.
- Complete knowledge of reservation system. Knowledge of brand programs.
- Works in an efficient manner. Completes tasks, job duties, special projects and assignments in a timely manner.
- Responsible for processing transactions accurately and balancing cash drawer.
- Completing daily transaction reports.
- Cross train in all the areas for the public access.
- Clean up and close down the breakfast buffet as needed and instructed.
- Handle all incoming calls professionally. Correctly and consistently apply Sales Training methods.
- Handle all room and rate changes within hotel's specific guidelines and guests' needs.
- Check all VIP reservations and make notes of any special requirements.
- Coordinate room status with Housekeeping Department.
- Communicate effectively with management, front desk team and other departments.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Works well as a team member.
- Provide information to guests about hotel services, facilities, other amenities and the local area.
- Communicates effectively with guests to understand their wants and needs, accommodates appropriately with urgency.
- Represent your employer in a positive and beneficial way when making contacts within the community.
- Follows company policies and procedures. Involved in company community projects.
Qualifications and Skills
Specific Job Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk/stand a total of 8 hours in a day.
- Must be able to lift 35-50 lbs
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Ability
- Communications skills required both written and oral
- General knowledge and experience with computers
- Customer service skills and experience
- Signature Training required if provided
