We are a National skilled trades provider looking for an individual with proven and verified staffing experience. The full-time Recruiter position is responsible for interviewing, testing and referring applicants for skilled and semi-skilled positions throughout the Branch. This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle Recruiting to include sourcing candidates for skilled positions through all formats available to Quality Labor Management.
  • Pre-Screen, interview, verify skills, employment verification, and reference checks of applicants.
  • Coordinate appropriate employment testing.
  • Extend verbal and written contingent job offers.
  • Coordinate background checks and new-hire drug testing.
  • Follow-up with related clerical aspects of employment, application, I-9 verification, communicate with clients and Branch Management all new hires, etc.
  • Set, attend, and administer Job Fairs.
  • Fill the overall needs of the orders from our clients in collaboration with peer Recruiters.
  • Client relations and candidate resume and bio submittals.
  • Execute customer service follow-ups to ensure workers arrive on time and in a professional manner.
  • Notify Branch Manager of any problems that occur with Job orders for the purpose of active relationship management.
  • Assist all departments in any manner that will help grow the business.

Qualifications

  • High school education
  • Staffing: 2 years
  • Experience Recruiting Construction: 2 years
  • Conducting Interviews: 2 years

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Interpersonal and oral communication skills, ability to persuade and motivate, to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or challenging situations.
  • Able to organize work activities and develop realistic action plans.
  • Analytical skills, able to assess situations and to develop and implement resolutions.
  • Ability to build networking relationships and professional associations in order to source and recruit Team Members, and to keep the recruiting pipeline active.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
