RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), your primary responsibility is helping residents in their restoration of wellness and independence.
- Work in coordination and under the direction of the Therapy team and managers.
- Assisting in evaluations and setting appropriate goals for residents.
- Continued support of goal achievement.
- Maintain contact/communication with other personnel involved in the resident’s care to promote coordinated and efficient care plans.
- Setting goals for mobility, function, and independence.
- The application of therapeutic techniques to help achieve goals.
- Ensure accurate documentation throughout your shift.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Pennsylvania
- Long term care experience preferred but not required
