Activity Aide

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Implement programs for individual and group activities based on resident’s needs and abilities

·        Plan and conduct activity programs to assist residents in returning to the community

·        Schedule and implement room visits and in-room activities for residents unable to leave their room

·        Plan and schedule both indoor and outdoor activities for residents

·        Document all resident and family interactions and complete progress notes

·        Plan and conduct resident council meetings

·        Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team and attend all resident care conferences

·        Provide a pleasant and entertaining environment for residents during their stay
