Recruiter Position needed for growing medium sized trucking company
A little about us first…
We are a family-owned trucking company that has been in continuous operation since 1959. We have been in the same location for over 50 years and have built new offices and revamped existing offices for a great working environment. We have large offices with windows, no cubicles or having to slip seat at a desk with another co-worker. Our office atmosphere is one of team work and positive attitudes along with being fast paced and aggressive to grow our business.
We are also looking for an individual that has drive combined with a positive “can do” attitude. An individual that is a “self-starter” and can hit the ground running. We are not a large corporation which means there is room for upward mobility that you wouldn’t find at larger companies. For the right person, this would be a great opportunity to help us grow and be well paid in the process. Pay structure will be determined on experience and discussed after a formal interview has taken place.
Duties:
- Conduct employee recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing
- Call current driver applicants and former drivers and applicants
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for employee engagement and retention
Skills:
- Experience in conducting cold calling for recruitment purposes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Sales experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
