Position Overview: As a Quality Control Technician for Machined Parts, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying the precision and quality of machined components. Your meticulous attention to detail and understanding of machining processes will contribute to maintaining our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection and Testing:

    • Conduct thorough visual inspections and dimensional measurements of machined parts using precision tools and equipment.
    • Perform functional and non-functional testing to ensure parts meet specified tolerances and performance criteria.

  • Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, including measurements, testing procedures, and any deviations from quality standards.
    • Generate inspection reports and communicate findings to relevant teams.

  • Root Cause Analysis:

    • Investigate and analyze any discrepancies or defects found during inspections.
    • Collaborate with the production team to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

  • Quality Assurance Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the quality assurance team to develop and improve inspection processes and quality control procedures.
    • Provide input on quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Communication:

    • Communicate effectively with production teams and other stakeholders to address quality concerns and provide feedback on improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Control Technician in a machining environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Knowledge of machining processes and materials commonly used in the industry.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with quality control software and tools.
