We are looking for a highly motivated Account Specialist to join our QPS team. You will be building new client relationships and expanding market opportunities across Southern California.
This position is ideal for a Type A, self-starter, energizer, and confident individual willing to get their hands dirty. You have a good technical aptitude, a great personality and are eager to build a market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. You understand clients' needs while maintaining and identifying critical relationships within the commercial development industry.

Role
The Account Specialist provides daily support to the Director of Sales, Business Development, and Logistics (Director). They assist the Director in coordinating sales, marketing, and customer relationship management activities. They provide daily support of the estimators from a sales and bid-follow up perspective, organize marketing and promotional activities, prepare bid proposals, draft preliminary bid presentations, and assist the Director to identify, contacting, and corresponding with potential new clients, joint venture opportunities, and new business developments in related markets.
Requirements
Good to have - A proven sales track record in the construction industry and an ability to consistently build trust with customers and colleagues alike.
Plan and execute in all stages of the sales cycle -- from prospecting to closing.
Identify new prospects, generate business, maintain sales forecast and pipeline information.
Develop and qualify leads.
Build relationships with prospective clients.
Maintain consistent contact with existing clients.
Schedule calls with prospects and deliver mind-blowing, personality-driven demos.
Diligently update CRM with the latest information for metric tracking.
Coordinate quotes/proposals in response to client requirements.
Meet weekly/monthly quotas.
Provide feedback and input to the Sales, Account, and Product team regarding target markets, new client use cases, feature requests, etc. that support the expansion of the company's capabilities and services.
