Position Summary:
We are seeking an individual who has a vision, passion, and knowledge in the Cannabis Industry. The Lead Budtender (Lead Quality Care Specialist) will undertake the responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction and service excellence by engaging with customers to identify their needs, present and answer questions about products and services while also recommending solutions.
The Lead Budtender must be well educated in cannabis knowledge including but not limited to: industry knowledge, strain differences, the effects of cannabinoids, types of terpenes, cannabis weight measurements, the growth process, physical effects on the body, THC versus CBD, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, types of devices to consume cannabis with, etc.

Job Responsibilities:
- Direct and coach staff on a regular basis to ensure the dispensary's excellence in sales & service.
- Promote a culture of teamwork by working alongside the management team, establishing priorities, and providing clear direction to all staff members.
- Manage and inspire internal staff to deliver the highest level of customer service.
- Review and assist the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Inventory Manager in receiving all deliveries with diligence and accuracy in accordance with company standards and state regulations.
- Assist with the cash audit process on a nightly and monthly basis, including but not limited to counting down drawers, making bank deposits, fulfilling change orders, etc.
- Track various sales metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Oversee employee scheduling and attendance.
- Track employee disciplinary actions including marks against attendance, drawer offages, inventory discrepancies, etc.
- Assist with employee training and review process according to company SOPs.
- Assist in conducting nightly and monthly inventory audits in accordance with company and state guidelines to ensure there is no diversion of inventory, and effectively respond to discrepancies.
- Maintain records for all necessary documents: delivery and inventory manifests, nightly and weekly inventory counts, and other company reports..
- Maintain a strong, professional, and communicative relationship with corporate staff.
- Other duties may be assigned, as needed or warranted, by upper management.
Skills:
- Leadership and interpersonal skills
- POS/Cash-handling system experience required
- METRC, FlowHub, Dutchie, or other cannabis seed-to-sale experience, highly preferred
- Google Suite including Sheets and Gmail
- Basic knowledge of the cannabis plant and its effect on the endocannabinoid system, or the ability to learn.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years old
- Valid driver's license and/or with reliable access to transportation
- Cannabis industry experience, preferred
- Managerial experience 1 years, preferred
- Retail experience 3 years, preferred
- Full-time availability, evening and weekend availability required (35-40 hours with a flexible schedule)
- Must feel comfortable addressing and engaging with the public
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Capable of sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, bending or walking throughout the workday
- Ability to push, pull or lift up to 40 lbs
