What you will get to do:
- Performs assigned duties to prepare vessels for Hydro testing.
- Performs assigned duties to vacuum vessels after passing Hydro testing.
- Performs sand blasting activities as needed.
- Performs assigned duties on the metal roller as needed.
- Provides support in the vessel shop in job preparation as needed for production of equipment.
- Provides general labor support, or any assigned tasks as determined by Management, as needed for production of equipment.
- Recommends methods for improving efficiency a reducing waste of materials and utilities
- Perform job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
Experience Level: Mid-Level Experience
Education: High School Diploma or GED
- General mechanical and/or refrigeration knowledge
- Must be able to read a tape measure, calipers, and micrometers
- Must be able to read blueprints and drawings
- Must be a self-starter
- 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday - Thursday with a potential for overtime on Fridays
- Occasional mandatory overtime is required on Fridays
