What you will get to do:
- Ensure that annual risk assessments are completed and reviewed with staff
- Support EHS projects, participate in EHS audits and investigations, and set a good example for workers by adhering to all EHS standards and procedures
- Supervise, train and coach Quality Inspectors as required
- Monitor all QC inspections to ensure that the company adheres to its internal quality requirements throughout the production process as well as those established in the ISO quality handbook
- Maintain files of all production jobs and the raw materials records and QC reports related to each job
- Communicate with manufacturing, engineering, assembly and customers on a daily basis
- Inspect all incoming raw materials to ensure their integrity and that all material specifications have been met
Experience Level: Mid-Level Experience
Education: High School diploma or GED
- Prior experience in Quality Management and product development
- Bilingual English and Spanish a plus
- ASQ Certification in Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence, ASQ Quality Auditor, and Six-Sigma, preferred, but not required
- ISO-9001-2015 QMS Certification experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with management, staff, and customers, as well as display excellent judgment / reasoning skills
