**Steel Building Component Machine Operator**

Quality Structures is a leading provider of post frame building and building component kit sales. We are currently seeking a dedicated machine operator to join our team at our facility in Richmond, KS. The machine operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery to ensure the production of high-quality products.
**Duties:**
- Operate machinery including a slitter, roll forming tables, single plane/dual plane trim folders, panel lines, wrapping stations, and forklifts in accordance with company procedures.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, rules, tape measures to verify product quality.
- Assemble components as per specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
**Qualifications:**
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience in 26 ga and 29 ga roll forming and component bending.
- Experience in component packaging and FIFO inventory principles.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
